Registration is now open for the 2023 Oxnard Police Explorers Channel Islands Challenge. C.I.C. will encompass several action-packed ‘tactical’ scenarios and several ‘traditional’ scenarios. At least four (4) scenarios will involve live simunitions involving a shoot or don’t shoot scenarios.
The following scenarios are tentatively scheduled:
- Traffic Stop
- Building Search
- Suspicious Circumstances
- Domestic
- Bearcat Pull
- Bus Assault
- Officer Rescue
- Active Shooter
- Unknown Circumstances
The C.I.C. Competition will have two and a half days of scenarios that will take place the weekend of August 11th – 13th, 2023 in Oxnard, CA. Most scenarios will take place at one location with one (or more) scenarios at an off-site location.
The host hotel is Hilton Garden Inn, Oxnard, CA and is approximately 10 minutes from the competition location.

Your complete registration packet will be emailed to your POST upon receipt of your deposit. The registration package will contain additional required information prior to the start of C.I.C.
All fees will be due at the C.I.C registration on the first day of the competition (Friday, August 11th, 2023).
Registration is $130 per explorer and $75 per advisor.
